Explore the beautiful grounds of Highclere Castle: an iconic Victorian Castle with Anglo-Saxon roots. This single-lap course is undulating and multi-terrain. It passes over tarmac roads, gravel tracks, woodland paths and grass fields. Please consider suitable footwear for the mixed terrain, especially in the event of bad weather conditions as paths could become muddy and slippery. Note there are no stiles, jumps, bogs or ditches. There is a short section running on a public road so please consider other road users and follow the highway code. If necessary, be prepared to run single file. There will be marshals supporting and directing participants, with each kilometre clearly marked. This course is not suitable for buggies
