Tamworth 5 Mile

Event details

The Tamworth 5m race is a multi-terrain event run as a loop out and back along footpaths and cycleways around the Tamworth AC Stadium. All the paths are hard tarmac or stone. The course is undulating including a steady incline after the first mile which then means that the remainder of the loop is steadily downhill. The start time is 10.30, with the start and finish on the running track of the Tamworth AC Stadium. The main race is preceded by a 1 mile Junior Race/Fun Run which also starts and finishes in the stadium and runs out along the paths to a half mile turning point.
