Additional Information
The track is on a sports ground belonging to Dalton Barracks but is outside the main compound. It is in fair condition with few weeds but with the synthetic track at Tilsley Park nearby it is unlikely to be used much. The base was once RAF Abingdon. The track is in the locality of Shippon. Indoor meetings took place in Abingdon in the 1960s but the nature or exact location of the track used is unknown.
