Run possibly the fastest 10 Miler in Devon and support North Devon Hospice! Runners of all abilities are welcome and will receive a 2026 bespoke medal and T-shirt. The race course starts and finishes very close to the Bideford Amateur Athletic Club Clubhouse and takes in magnificent views of the Taw and Torridge estuary. The course heads out on roads and returns on the Tarka Trail, you even get to run through a tunnel. The race is moderately flat, with only three small inclines. £150 cash for 1st man and woman • £100 cash for 2nd man and woman • £75 cash for 3rd man and woman£50 cash bonus if the 1st man or woman sets a new course record male 49:57 (2024), female 57:46 (2018)£20 cash for the winner of each category up to V75Category trophies U20 to V75 men and women: 1st, 2nd and 3rdAll cash prizes and trophies are available at the prize presentation on the day of the race only.Important Information No walkers. This is for the safety and wellbeing of participants and marshals as sections of the race are on open roads. Participants need to be able to complete the race in an average of 15 minutes per mile, or faster, and within the 2 hours 30 minutes cut-off time. Those ignoring this rule will be withdrawn from the event and marked as disqualified on the results.
