These terms apply whenever you use athleticstracks.co.uk ("we", "us", "the site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Athletics Tracks is

We're an independent directory of UK athletics tracks: opening times, facilities, certification status, clubs and how to get in touch, kept current by an initial data import plus ongoing corrections from track managers and visitors. We're not affiliated with UK Athletics, World Athletics, or any single track listed here.

Accuracy of information

We do our best to keep listings accurate, but we can't guarantee it. Opening times, charges, access conditions and contact details can change without us knowing straight away. Always confirm directly with a track before travelling, especially for anything time- or access-sensitive. We're not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by information on this site being out of date or incorrect.

Creating an account

You need an account to contribute (suggesting edits, uploading photos, claiming or suggesting a track). You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything done through your account. Give us accurate information when you register, and let us know if you think your account's been compromised.

Content you contribute

When you suggest an edit, upload a photo, or suggest a track, you're confirming it's genuinely yours to share (or you have the right to share it) and that it's accurate to the best of your knowledge. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and use what you submit on the site, and occasionally in our own marketing, credited to your username per our Privacy Policy. You keep ownership of what you submit; you're just letting us use it for these purposes.

Everything you submit is reviewed before it goes live. We can reject, edit, or remove any contribution, and suspend or remove an account, at our discretion, particularly for content that's inaccurate, misleading, offensive, or that you don't have the right to share.

Claiming a track

Claiming a track is for people who genuinely own, manage, or work at that track. We review claims before approving them, and we can decline or revoke a claim if we have reason to believe it isn't genuine.

Acceptable use

Don't use the site to submit false or misleading information, impersonate someone else, harvest or scrape data beyond normal browsing, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site, or use it for anything unlawful.

Third-party services and links

The site uses or links to third-party services (Mapbox for maps, what3words for precise locations, TrackSlot for some event listings, and others listed in our Privacy Policy), and links to track and club websites we don't control. We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any third-party site or service.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is". We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information on it is complete or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including reliance on information that turns out to be inaccurate or out of date.

Changes to these terms

We'll update this page if these terms change, and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
