Worcestershire Beacon Race 2026

Event details

This is the 68th running of this race. The course is run over the Malvern Hills, incorporating steep ascents and descents on a variety of surfaces, including stony and woodland paths and two sections of tarmac roads. The highest point of the course is reached at the Worcestershire Beacon (1395 feet) which can be subject to extreme weather conditions. The Race start and finish area will be located at the Rosebank Gardens in central Malvern, a short walk from the Race HQ. There will be no Race entries taken on the day, and Race numbers must be collected form the Race HQ between 1.00pm and 2.15pm. There is a number of fee-paying car parks close to the town centre; additionally there are numerous opportunities in the vicinity for on street parking. Toilets are located at Race HQ and public facilities are available within easy walking distance.
