The track is around an all-weather football/hockey pitch and the surface is a very fine gravel substance which does get rather soft when wet. It is however in excellent condition and is regularly maintained. The adjacent Omagh Leisure Centre building opened on 25th May 1982 but not sure if the track was there before.
