More about Lyng Hall School Track
This running track in Coventry sits in a largely derelict field that formed part of the school's old site, next to the current one, which reopened in December 1998 after a £3.5M rebuild. Every old school building has been demolished. The track itself is redgra and in very poor condition: the inside lane is badly overgrown and unusable, and the outside lane is fairly overgrown too. Faint markings in lanes 2 to 5 suggest the school may still use it. The infield is overgrown. It sits in the locality of Wyken.
