How Contributing Works

This directory is only as accurate as the people who actually visit these tracks make it. Every opening time, photo, and facility listed here was either imported once from an old dataset or added by someone who has actually been there. The more people who help, the more this stays true.

How points work

You earn points for contributing. Nothing you submit goes live until a track admin (or, for a new track suggestion, a superadmin) reviews it, so points are only ever awarded once something is actually approved.

Why you see usernames, not real names

The community leaderboard and activity feed are public. Anyone can see them without logging in. So they show your username and avatar, not the real name you registered with. You picked (or generated) your username at signup, and it is the identity other visitors and contributors actually see. Your real name stays private, used only for your account and for anything a track admin needs when reviewing what you have submitted.
