More about Goldsmiths Recreation Ground Track
The running track in Crowborough is in poor condition with bad drainage, but Crowborough Runners still use it. It falls to the council, even though it sits next to the Leisure Centre and its swimming pool. Plans drawn up in 1999 for a £1.2 million development of the recreation ground, taking in a 400m synthetic track, a floodlit football pitch and an astro-turf pitch, appear to have fallen through.
