The track is just in the area of City of Glasgow and so is probably in Millerston rather than the nearby Stepps which is actually in North Lanarkshire but given the name seems more appropriate to use St in the NUTS name. The track is reported to be fairly well looked after all year round and is in the middle of extensive University Sports Grounds with other pitches. It has been used in the very recent past for District Cross Country Championships and Relays with the course always incorporating part of the track. There is pavilion very close to the track which includes a good bar area. There was talk at one time of upgrading it to synthetic but there are no firm plans.
