The running track in Feltham opened around 1986 with an Avon synthetic surface, now very badly worn, and it's no longer officially open to the public. It isn't fenced, though, so casual running still happens. Next to it is an all-weather football stadium, the other arena on the site, which was where the original cinder Feltham Arena stood. Borough of Hounslow AC were based here until 2001, when they merged with Windsor, Slough & Eton AC and moved to Eton. As of 2012 the track still existed but in a derelict state, and in that state it appears in the opening sequences of the Fast Girls movie. The pictures were taken in 2001, shortly after it stopped being in regular use.
