More about Trench House Track
This running track in Belfast dates from 1969 and formed part of St. Joseph's Training College at Trench House. The college merged with St. Mary's University College in 1986, and the Trench House site closed in 1996 with everything moving to the main site at 191 Falls Road, BELFAST, BT12 6FE. Trench House has since come down, leaving the site as little more than wasteland. Grass has taken over the track and most of the curbs are hidden. On the home straight, lanes 1 and 9 have gone, and elsewhere only about the middle two lanes of 6 can still be made out. It sits in the locality of Ladybrook.
