Pupils of the Royal Masonic School for Boys built this running track in Bushey over ten years during the 1930s, when the school owned the site. It isn't a regular oval: a home straight runs into a section that's close to circular, and the width varies along that curve, narrowing to about 4 lanes at its tightest point. Condition is fairly poor and it's a little overgrown. The length is believed to be 440y. The school closed in 1977 and the US International University took over the site, itself closing in 1993. Comer Homes own it now, with conversion into housing due in 2003.
