Spurtan BS went down in 1993, with another resurfacing in 1997, and it's in excellent condition, although the general public don't use it much. A PA system is available. New changing facilities opened in 2000, and a new external discus and hammer cage went up in 2001 in an area next to the top bend. A height adjustable water jump followed in March 2002.
